Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using this website and our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not accept these Terms, please do not use our services or website.
Services
Northern Territory Audio Visual (NTAV) provides professional audio and visual entertainment services, including DJ services, event sound, lighting, and equipment hire across the Northern Territory and beyond.
Pricing
All pricing is subject to individual event requirements. Quotes are tailored specifically for each booking based on factors such as location, duration, equipment needs, and other variables.
For venues or clients with an existing ongoing relationship (e.g., resident DJ arrangements), pricing structures may differ and are subject to negotiated terms.
Cancellations
Cancellations must be made with at least 5 days' notice prior to the scheduled event.
Cancellations made within 5 days of the event are subject to a 50% cancellation fee, calculated from the minimum booking time of 3 hours.
Failure to notify of cancellation may result in being charged the full agreed booking fee.
Equipment Hire
At a minimum, our hourly rate includes the hiring of DJ decks (if required).
If your event requires additional equipment (such as PA speakers, subwoofers, lighting, smoke machines, or lasers), this must be clearly communicated to the NTAV event coordinator prior to the event start date. Additional charges will apply for extra equipment or complex setups.
Failure to notify us in advance may result in limited service delivery due to equipment availability.
Insurance and Liability
All NTAV staff and subcontractors are covered under our business insurance for operations and services provided by us.
However, NTAV is not liable for any damage caused to our equipment by:
Venue staff or contractors
Event clients or hosts
Event guests or patrons
In such instances, the responsible party may be billed for repair or replacement costs.
Safety and Conduct
The safety and wellbeing of NTAV staff are a top priority. We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for abuse, harassment, or aggressive behaviour directed at our DJs, technicians, or any representative of NTAV.
We reserve the right to:
Withdraw our services at any time during the event
Cancel an event prior to its start
...if we believe our staff are at risk or their safety has been compromised.
No refunds will be issued in the event of cancellation due to safety concerns.
Intellectual Property
All content displayed on www.ntav.com.au, including but not limited to logos, branding, text, photos, audio, and video, are the intellectual property of NTAV unless otherwise stated. Content may not be copied, reproduced, or used without written permission.
Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Northern Territory, Australia. By using our website and services, you submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that region.
